Hooké Ungava : An Expedition to No Man’s Land from HOOKÉ on Vimeo.
Yet another exciting video from Hooké, this time taking on fly fishing ventures in Eastern Canada.
From Hooké:
“A first Quebec movie nominated for the IF4 international festival North American tour.
The Quebec production Hooké Ungava: An Expedition to No Man’s Land will be touring North America. The fly-fishing movie, a Hooké product, is an official selection of the International Fly-Fishing Film Festival (IF4), a large-scale festival in the outdoor industry.
Through this selection, the original version of the movie will be presented in more than forty destinations through United-States and Canada. The IF4 tour will stop by Montreal and Quebec City on March 18th and March 24th respectively.
Shot on summer 2014, the movie presents a 10-day expedition with the Hooké tribe. In the most Northern parts of Quebec and Labrador, the team flew over mountain ranges, falls and canyons in search of Atlantic salmons and Arctic chars. The final result is a 30-minute film presenting the best fly-fishing action, breathtaking landscapes of Ungava Bay and high quality aerial footage from the Torngats mountain range and the polar bear country.”
