Following Day 2 events and happenings at the International Fly Tackle Dealer show in Las Vegas tonight, The Drake Magazine hosted the 8th Annual Drake Magazine Flyfishing Video Awards, presented by Simms.
Many anglers looked forward to hearing the winners of the following categories, including the now famed, “Reader’s Choice Award,” which names the best fly fishing film of all time, voted on by readers (and not including A River Runs Through It).
You can find the results below:
People’s Choice Award: Geofish
Best New Film: The Aqua Hulk (Capt. Jako Lucas)
Best on the Web: Bulls on Top
Best Fishing, Saltwater: Riding High
Best Fishing, Freshwater: Sipping Dry
Best Conservation: Red Gold

With anglers able to see the results of the voting for best fly fishing film of all time, Geofish carried a lead for most of the voting, and they ended up claiming the prize. Luckily for us, there is more to come from the Motiv crew as they head to Peru with cameras and fly rods in hand.
