At Dream Waters Angling, everything starts with a shared love for wild places, good company, and the rush of a perfect cast.
The story began in 2008, when Roberto Alba and his son Luciano — lifelong anglers and adventurers — teamed up with close friends to take on what seemed like an impossible challenge: to create a world-class fly fishing destination in one of the most remote corners of Patagonia.
There was no road. No lodge. No blueprint. Just a dream — and the conviction that if they did things the right way, anglers from around the world would come.
That dream became Estancia Laguna Verde, on the shores of Lake Strobel (Jurassic Lake) — now one of the most celebrated trophy rainbow trout fisheries on Earth. From those beginnings, something bigger was born.
Today, Dream Waters Angling is the new identity that brings all of our destinations together under one name — without changing what’s always made us special: personalized service, authentic hospitality, and unforgettable fishing in some of Argentina’s most iconic waters.
