Trailer: Fly Fishing and a Social Impact in Lesotho in RANGEBOUND

The mountains of Lesotho surround world-class yellowfish waters and are home to the Makhanghoa community. In a short film coming soon from the Fly Fishing Nation, efforts to fish these waters and support this community are in focus.

From the Fly Fishing Nation:

“Fly Fishing & Transformation in Lesotho. Join Simon as he journeys into the mountains of Lesotho to fly fish for yellowfish on the Bokong River at African Waters’ Makhanghoa Community Camp. Where fly fishing isn’t just a sport, it’s a catalyst for change. Witness the inspiring story of two river rangers, Martin Tsotsane and David Matsoso training to become guides through an intensive program led by Johann du Preez (@johanndupreez_art), executive director of Indifly (@indiflyfoundation), discovering the power of nature and community. The short film also highlights the incredible work of African Waters (@african_waters), whose community-focused fly fishing camp provides not only first class hospitality and guided fly fishing but also involves and uplifts the local Makhangoa Village.

Filmed amidst breathtaking landscapes, this film explores hope, transformation, and the magic of fly fishing.

A Fly fishing Nation short film in association with African Waters and Indifly.”
