Greys has announced a new reel — the Tail fly fishing reel.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (September 28, 2021) — The Greys Tail reel is designed with the modern fly angler in mind. The industrial design gives the reel a sleek and modern look while the large arbor allows for quick retrieval rate. The Tail is available in two color-coded models for easy identification: the Freshwater performance reel is red and black and makes a great reel for all freshwater species in sizes 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8; while the All-Water performance reel is silver and black and perfect for saltwater applications in sizes 7/8 and 9/10.
Both reels are fitted with a fully sealed carbon disc drag for smooth and dependable performance from the riverbank or beach and all points in between. The reels are finished with an anodizing pre-treatment and a durable paint finish to ensure corrosion-free saltwater use, and the enclosed frame design was crafted to prevent excess line from escaping. The reels can also easily be converted from left- to right-handed retrieve.
