The 2020 product announcements from Sage now include their new ESN reel — an attractive-looking reel designed for Euro-nymphing anglers.
Designed around the unique needs Euro-nymph anglers have, the ESN reel includes features that help support this style of fly fishing. For example, the there is narrower spool designed around ESN lines, and the “ultra-large arbor” helps anglers with mroe rapid line pickup.
Additionally, this reel has what Sage describes as “A unique balance system allows anglers to assemble and fine tune a set of weights, so the ESN reel can perfectly balance any Euro Nymphing (or standard) rod.” (See the image above.)
The new Sage ESN reel will come in one size and will be available in Stealth and Chipotle colors. The reel will cost $425.
