A peacock bass adventure on the Rio Marié in Brazil!

“‘Rio de Gigantes’, as the local Indians call Marié River, worldwide recognized for inhabiting in its waters trophy sizes Peacock Bass, the excellence sport species of all Amazon. Belonging to the Negro River basin, Marié is about 3 hours away by seaplane from the city of Manaus, Amazon, Brazil. In September 2019, we embarked on a trip to the Marié jungle, seeking to meet nature and the local inhabitants of the area, with the main objective of fly fishing one of the most wanted predatory fish by both amateurs and professionals in the entire world, the Giant Peacock Bass.”
