Chaco and Howler Brothers Collaborate on New Collection

Howler Brothers and Chaco have joined forces to create an impressive collection of footwear and apparel.

While Howler and Chaco are certainly established brands in the outdoors industry, my own experience with their products was limited. It turns out I was missing out.

When I unboxed the Chaco x Howler sandals and put a photo on Instagram, I immediately got a message from my rock climber friend, Tara, telling me that I’m going to love my new Chacos. She was spot on. It’s pretty unusual that sandals are so impressively comfortable. The Chaco x Howler Z/1 Classic Sandal are exceptionally comfortable. Several straps allow a perfect (and snug) fit that won’t throw off your gate and will keep you looking and feeling good all day — whether it’s on the raft or the trail. The LUVSEAT PU footbed is actually more comfortable than my gym shoes making me wonder why my favorite kicks are so inferior to my Chacos. Will the gym let me lift weights in these puppies?!

Additionally, the Chaco x Howler Flip Ecotread is truly a “flip without the flop.” Intelligently designed, this footwear is very comfortable and also ready for the water. Often, flip flops aren’t designed to handle water, and it’s when wet that they come undone. These are designed for watermen and are ready to stand tough.

Those who know me know I’m a boardshorts junkie and am most comfortable in my favorite swimwear. That said, I am pleased to be welcoming the Chaco x Howler Vaquero Boardshorts to my wardrobe. Lightweight and good-looking, the unique design compliments the sandals and the flip. And with the Pocket T-Shirt or H Bar B Tech Shirt, it will be easy to beat the heat and not have your outerwear be an uncomfortable burden on a hot day or on the water.

The new collection from Chaco and Howler Brothers comes with strong recommendations. Well done!
