A few months back, we announced the Five Rivers Challenge — a fun event designed to bring anglers together to support the great efforts of CalTrout. Now we are happy to pass along a video about the event.

“The 5 Rivers Challenge is a fun fishing tournament hosted by Clearwater Lodge that takes place on 5 of Northern California’s prized Wild Trout waters, The McCloud, The Pit, The Upper Sacramento, Hat Creek and Fall River. Teams of two fish 3 days and get in a half day on each river and then choose their favorite for an additional half day. The team that ends up with the highest total amount of inches of fish by the end of the 3 days wins! The atmosphere is fun and friendly and all proceeds from the event go directly to California Trout for conservation and restoration on Northern California’s Wild Trout waters.”
