The Five Rivers Challenge: Good Times to Benefit CalTrout

Five Rivers Challenge

As we have previously noted, CalTrout does critical work for California waters and their native salmonids. In August, there is a great opportunity to have a good time on the water while also benefiting CalTrout.

The Five Rivers Challenge takes place on the the Pit River, Fall River, McCloud River, Upper Sacramento River and Hat Creek. Anglers and their partner will try to catch the largest and most fish, and the winners are awarded with fine recognition as, “Their names will be engraved on the beautiful Five Rivers Trophy, permanently displayed at Clearwater Lodge [and] All teams will receive great tackle items and other prizes.”

What a great event.
