Looks too high for simms gravel cuffs. Weinbrenner and Danner made nearly perfect wading boots back in the 90s. They were made in the US.
I’d be concerned with the inability to snug up the boot in the front. I don’t see the need for a rear entry wading boot, it didn’t work for ski boots because of the same reason, can’t firm up the fit in the front area of the foot.
