“In the past decade, Texas Parks and Wildlife has approved the stocking of grass carp in lake austin to control hydrilla. However, they have since decimated all the other aquatic plants which depleted the bass fishery. Me and my buddy Knox Kronenberg saw the carp as potentially fun gamefish on the fly, and seized the opportunity. (Seize the Day, CARP(E) DIEM)”
