Colorado Floods: Large Oil Spill into South Platte River and Fracking Concerns

More information is coming in from Colorado on the impact of the flooding, and new environmental concerns include oil and fracking.

Fracking is also flooding through Colorado, and statements yesterday from Colorado natural gas industry spokespersons ignite concerns that the industry was not prepared to handle such a flood, and that their product may have joined the flood (to be later mixed with river water, the ground, and groundwater).

What is confirmed is that 5,250 gallons of oil have spilled into the South Platte River.
