Golden Mahseer

What it all comes down to is the fish, and those who truly love fly fishing have certainly sat and stared in awe at the spots, scales, and other physical aspects of various fishes.

The body shot of the fish above is certainly worth a close look, especially for the majority of us who will likely not get a chance to see one in person. The fish above is a golden mahseer, and they can be found in the Himalayan outback of India. This photo comes courtesy of Jim Klug, who took the photo recently on a trip to India for the making of the upcoming Confluence Films project, Waypoints.
