It’s the final countdown!
Beginning today and running through May 24, 2013, is the first-ever permit fly fishing tournament presented by Howler Brothers, and taking place at the Palometa Club in Ascension Bay, Mexico.
The event is rich with sponsors (see above and below) and for Howler Brothers, it will be their first “Howler Pilgrimage.” The event will be captured through photo and film by Jamie Howard from Howard Films and Matt Jones, and the winner earns a trip back to the Palometa Club to defend their title in 2014.
“Proceeds from the tournament entry fees, calcutta, and donations will benefit the Jon Ain Memorial Fund for the Bonefish Tarpon Trust as well as the schoolchildren of Punta Allen.”
