A new film by Gray Ghost Productions finally gives the under-appreciated Atlantic salmon a significant nod.
In Turning Tail, Atlantic salmon are examined as a targeted fish for fly anglers. As such, the love of the fish are discussed while viewers are treated to many action shots of both the pursuit and catch of Atlantic salmon.
Also important to the film is the message of conservation related to Atlantic salmon. Noting that Maine is the last stronghold for wild Atlantic salmon in the United States, the outlook is dire for the survival and health of this fish, and anglers, conservationists, and environmentalists must act.
