Not the type of fly fishing film you see every day. In “The Only Boat on the Lake,” a new film coming to the International Fly Fishing Film Festival, anglers take on bass in a home lake in Kansas.
From the IF4:
“The Only Boat on the Lake, from award-winning filmmakers Steve Schwartz, Nic Schwartz and Harrison Hughes, explores what remains after the exotic fish and record-breaking catches fade away. Anglers Nic and Steve Schwartz head back to their original home waters in rural Kansas to learn how one small bass lake served as more than just a humble getaway, but also a refuge through their family’s darkest moments. Only at the International Fly Fishing Film Festival in 2026.”
