North Atlantic Salmon Fund Hosts a Summer Celebration at River Elliðaár

From the NASF:

Reykjavík, Iceland – The North Atlantic Salmon Fund (NASF) is inviting its supporters, volunteers, and friends to a special summer celebration on July 12th, 2025, set in the scenic surroundings of the River Elliðaár fishing lodge.

This gathering marks a moment to honor the dedicated community that supports NASF’s mission to protect the wild Atlantic salmon. The event will offer a relaxed and festive atmosphere with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including light entertainment, refreshments, and the chance to connect with others who care deeply about nature and conservation.

Since its founding in 1989, the North Atlantic Salmon Fund (NASF) has been at the forefront of efforts to protect wild Atlantic salmon. Over the years, the organization has navigated numerous challenges, from combating overfishing to addressing habitat degradation. Collaborative efforts have led to significant victories for salmon conservation. Yet, as new threats emerge for the magnificent species to evolve, the fight continues. This moment offers an opportunity to reflect on past accomplishments and to express gratitude for the unwavering support from volunteers, sponsors, and the broader community that has been instrumental in NASF’s journey.

While details of the program are still under wraps, guests can expect a fun and meaningful evening — with a few surprises along the way.
