The Provo Bros took an epic trip in 2013, traveling to the Amazon in Bolivia to chase beastly golden dorado on the fly. Exploring jungles for an exotic, highly regarded and sought after critter, the video above highlights the awesomeness of the trip.
From the filmmakers:
“In August of 2013, My brother Neil and I set out on our first international expedition together. We’d spend a month in Bolivia, traveling through the Amazon jungle all the way up to the Altiplano and the high peaks of the Andes mountains. It was the craziest trip we’d ever done, and to this day, remains as some of the most irreplaceable and potent memories we have – Fly-fishing for Golden Dorado, getting flooded out, catching fish I never knew existed, hunting monkeys, dodging political unrest and extortion attempts, shitting the bed in La Paz, reaching the source of the worlds mightiest river and making turns on our skis and board, epic headaches at 17,900′ above sea level, eating so much meat, and on and on and on…. I just hope we can get back some day for another DIY adventure to the max.”
