From Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures:

BOZEMAN, MONTANA – Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures is excited to announce that industry and travel veteran Kyle Kolodziejski has joined the Yellow Dog team as the new program manager for Patagonia and South America. Kolodziejski will manage the company’s current offerings in Argentina and Chile while at the same time working on the development and introduction of new destinations for the future.

Already a leader in South American destination angling, Yellow Dog plans to significantly increase the company’s destination offerings by more than doubling the number of lodges that Yellow Dog markets, works with and represents. By the end of the 2019 season, and with Kolodziejski in the driver’s seat, Yellow Dog will have the largest, most diverse, and most complete line-up of Argentine and Chilean destinations in the entire industry.

Kyle has worked in the fly fishing industry for close to 25 years, as a guide, managing a lodge in Alaska, volunteering for numerous youth and outdoor education programs, and (for the past four years) building and managing the South American fishing program for a booking agent based in the Pacific Northwest. Over the years, Kyle has fished extensively throughout Patagonia and South America developing a hard-earned reputation among clients guides, outfitters and lodges as an accomplished veteran, a consummate professional, and someone who always puts the needs and experiences of his clients first and foremost.

“I am excited to be working with the fastest-growing, most dynamic and most successful booking company in the industry,” said Kolodziejski. “The individuals that collectively make up the Yellow Dog team all have an amazing amount of experience working in the industry and fishing throughout the world. I am eager to move our Patagonian program forward and deliver the best trips and travel experiences possible for our Yellow Dog clients.”

Yellow Dog’s long-time program director for South America, John Hudgens, will be continuing on with Yellow Dog and transitioning into a new, focused role as program manager for the company’s jungle fishing operations, including Bolivia, Brazil, northern Argentina and Guyana. Under John’s management over the past seven years, the South American program evolved to become one of Yellow Dog’s largest and most diverse, with more than 27 lodges and outfitting operations in six South American countries.

“We’re thrilled with the growth that we’ve been experiencing these past several years,” said Jim Klug, Yellow Dog’s Director of Operations. “As the company continues to grow and expand, we’re focused on hiring and attracting the very best people to take care of our clients on every level. Kyle brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to our team, and he’ll immediately contribute to a company culture that is committed to delivering the best possible fishing experiences throughout the world to our customers and clients.”
