“If you are a fly fisherman, you have had Christmas Island cross your mind at one point or another. It certainly crossed our mind more then once… however that’s not where we ended up. Our travels took us 1000+ miles west of Christmas Island, still in the Republic Kiribati but to much less traveled places. Exploring unknown flats and islands in the south pacific for Giant Trevally has to be one of the coolest experiences we could have imagined… Here is a taste of what we found through the journey.”
